Kathleen
is a native New Yorker and a graduate of Parsons School of Design. She
and her family have been residents of Burlington, North Carolina for
over thirty years.
Ms Gwinnett has exhibited her work
throughout the state. She was the featured artist at the Italian
cultural booth at the Raleigh International Festival in 2004. She has
had one person exhibitions at the Campbell House Gallery in Southern
Pines and the Mattie King Davis Gallery in Beaufort, North Carolina, and
most recently, North Carolina University Women's Hospital in Chapel Hill
Kathleen has exhibited at the Greensboro Artist League, Art Gallery
Originals in Winston Salem, the
Alamance County Arts Council, The Burlington Artist League Gallery, Studio 91 in Meadowmont Chapel Hill, Pharma-Link in Research Triangle, and "Art on the Vine 2009" with the
Alamance Artisans Association.
Kathleen has produced many designs for the home furnishing market in the
forms of flags, floor mats and kitchen linens.
She has painted numerous commissions and
home
portraits,
in North Carolina, and as far away as
Canada and Sicily.
She is
one of the River Artist Collective who did their first installation in
the River mill of Saxapahaw NC. The seven artists of 2D and 3D media, are
in the process of planning their next exhibition.
