I believe my personal favorite  paintings are those I did of the village of Scopello. Painting on location was a heavenly experience.

  I finally reached Erice on my fourth trip to Sicily. If you don't mind heights, the ride on the cable car up to the town is a breath-taking experience.  One can see all of Trapani, including the salt marshes, the villas on the hills and then the surrounding Mediterranean sea.
